ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE@#To assess the value of chromosomal microarray analysis (CMA) and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) for the prenatal diagnosis of chromosomal mosaicisms.@*METHODS@#A total of 775 pregnant women who had visited the Prenatal Diagnosis Center of Yancheng Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital from January 2018 to December 2020 were selected as study subjects. Chromosome karyotyping analysis and CMA were carried out for all women, and FISH was used to validate the suspected mosaicism cases.@*RESULTS@#Among the 775 amniotic fluid samples, karyotyping has identified 13 mosaicism cases, which yielded a detection rate of 1.55%. Respectively, there were 4, 3, 4 and 2 cases for sex chromosome number mosaicisms, abnormal sex chromosome structure mosaicisms, abnormal autosomal number mosaicisms and abnormal autosomal structure mosaicisms. CMA has only detected only 6 of the 13 cases. Among 3 cases verified by FISH, 2 cases were consistent with the karyotyping and CMA results, and clearly showed low proportion mosaicism, and 1 case was consistent with the result of karyotyping but with a normal result by CMA. Eight pregnant women had chosen to terminate the pregnancy (5 with sex chromosome mosaicisms and 3 with autosomal mosaicisms).@*CONCLUSION@#For fetuses suspected for chromosomal mosaicisms, CMA, FISH and G-banding karyotyping should be combined to determine the type and proportion of mosaicisms more precisely in order to provide more information for genetic counseling.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To analyze the health development plans of the provinces in China during the " 14th Five-Year Plan" , and explore the key tasks, similarities and differences of health informatization construction in each province. Methods:Using the website of local people′s government and the official website of the provincial Health Commission, 27 copies of health development plans of various provinces during the " 14th Five-Year Plan" period were retrieved and collected from February 16 to June 5, 2022. The relevant statements of health information in the plan were extracted, content analysis was used to reveal the structural characteristics of the policy in the form of word frequency statistics, and discourse analysis was used to study the policy content. Results:The health information policies of 27 provinces during the " 14th Five-Year Plan" period could be summarized as 10 major themes, such as accelerating the construction of hierarchical diagnosis and treatment system, promoting the high-quality development of public hospitals, and deepening the reform of medical security system. The health information policy in the eastern, central and western regions was relatively clear, and there were certain differences in the construction points according to their own characteristics. Conclusions:During the " 14th Five-Year Plan" period, the policies of each province around the field of health information are well defined, and the core structure and content are similar. The distribution of key points in the eastern region is relatively balanced; the construction of health information in the central region is more prioritized and prominent; the construction of health information in the western region is focused on complementing the weak links and weaknesses.

ABSTRACT

The present use of artificial intelligence at primary health care institutions covers auxiliary treatment, voice electronic medical records, rational drug use, chronic disease management assistance, and auxiliary diagnosis of medical images. The authors analyzed the main factors restricting the development of primary medical artificial intelligence products, and put forward solutions from the perspectives of optimizing product functions, organizing expert resources from the national level. These efforts can assist in the examination and approval of medical artificial intelligence products, and improve the medical artificial intelligence system, so as to promote the healthy and sustainable development of artificial intelligence in primary medical and health institutions.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To determine the mass scores of naringin and neohesperidin in Fructus aurantii and Citrus chang-shan-huyou with their processed products and evaluate the quality of Fructus aurantii and Citrus changshan-huyou with their pro-cessed products. METHODS:According to the requirements of Chinese Pharmacopoeia(2010 edition)and Zhejiang Province Tradi-tional Chinese Medicine Preparation Standards (2005 edition),the moisture and ash of F. aurantii and C. changshan-huyou with their processed products were detected. And the contents of naringin and neohesperidin were determined. The ZORBAX SB-C18 column was used with the mobile phase of acetonitrile-water(20∶80,V/V)at the flow rate of 1.0 ml/min. The detection wave-length was set at 283 nm,and the column temperature was 40℃.The samples size was 10μl. RESULTS:The moisture of F. au-rantii and C. changshan-huyou was decreased after processing with no obvious change for ash. The contents of naringin and neohes-peridin were decreased, significantly for F. aurantii, and all consistent with the requirements of Chinese Pharmacopoeia(2010 edi-tion)except F. aurantii. The linear range was 0.028 45-0.284 5μg(r=0.999 7)for naringin and 0.085 9-0.858 6μg(r=0.999 6)for neohesperidin;the RSDs of precision, stability and reproducibility tests were no more than 1.36% and the average recovery was re-spectively 96.45%-100.43%(RSD=1.45%,n=6) and 98.36%-102.00%(RSD=1.26%,n=6). CONCLUSIONS: There was no significant difference in the inspection and determination re-sults in F. aurantii and C. changshan-huyou. It is suggested to adjust the limitation of content determination in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia(2010 edition)and processed standards.

ABSTRACT

The history of Western Pacific Region Index Medicus (WPRIM), and advances in its journal selection, retrieval service platform construction and data acquisition were described. The daily record of users showed that WPRIM is of certain international influencing power, but is not a matured regional international index medicus. Suggestions were put forward for its popularization, project development funds, journal review and data acquisition.

ABSTRACT

Integrating medical instruments with medical information systems becomes more and more important in healthcare industry. To make medical instruments without standard communication interface possess the capability of interoperating and sharing information with medical information systems, we developed a medical instrument integration gateway based on Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise Patient Care Device (IHE PCD) integration profiles in this research. The core component is an integration engine which is implemented according to integration profiles and Health Level Seven (HL7) messages defined in IHE PCD. Working with instrument specific Javascripts, the engine transforms medical instrument data into HL7 ORU message. This research enables medical instruments to interoperate and exchange medical data with information systems in a standardized way, and is valuable for medical instrument integration, especially for traditional instruments.

ABSTRACT

Based on repeated experiments as well as continuous researching and improving, an efficient scheme to measure velocity and displacement of the coxa and knee movements based on video image processing technique is presented in this paper. The scheme performed precise and real-time quantitative measurements of 2D velocity or displacement of the coxa and knee using a video camera mounted on one side of the healing and training beds. The beds were based on simplified pinhole projection model. In addition, we used a special-designed auxiliary calibration target, composed by 24 circle points uniformly located on two concentric circles and two straight rods which can rotate freely along the concentric center within the vertical plane, to do the measurements. Experiments carried out in our laboratory showed that the proposed scheme could basically satisfy the requirements about precision and processing speed of such kind of system, and would be very suitable to be applied to smart evaluation/training and healing system for muscles/balance function disability as an advanced and intuitional helping method.
